Temperatures approaching 24 degrees in February; trepidation and waiting for the mythical traditional festival, Las Fallas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was in this festive atmosphere that the training of MOVE<\/a><\/strong> took place, a project aimed at making young Europeans aware of the reality of migration and promoting common European values.<\/strong> From 19 to 22 February, youth workers and educators from 4 different European countries came together to test and discuss MOVE's learning methodology and refine its activities. The methodology is based on the concept of \u2018gamification\u2019, which aims to stimulate learning through games - play to learn - and \u2018story telling\u2019, which combines creativity and learning.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The main product developed within the project is a revisited version of the Goose Game<\/strong>, here marked by unexpected events of a migration journey, as well as by boxes of open questions and collective reflection.<\/strong> The themes range from European migration legislation, real-life situations experienced by migrants and consideration of EU values.<\/strong> The structure of the game, combined with the solidity of the material, succeeds in creating an experience in which one hardly notices that one has spent hours fluently dealing with sensitive topics.
