Recent years have seen a growing emphasis on creating a sustainable and just society, with the European Union focusing on effective resource use and educational strategies to meet this goal. Among the promising approaches, micro-credentials stand out for their flexibility and inclusivity, particularly in enhancing professional skills vital for today's economy. GREENLAB<\/a><\/strong>, leveraging the successes of the NE(W)AVE project, exemplifies this approach with its focus on sustainability management and environmental consulting.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initiated by a consortium of eleven partners from six EU countries, GREENLAB is committed to reshaping Vocational Education and Training (VET) to address the demands of the green transition better. <\/strong>The Kick-Off meeting, which took place in Palermo, on the 13th and 14th of March, launched the works. This research serves as the bedrock for developing the project's core educational offerings, which will be delivered through an innovative e-learning platform tailored for professionals in environmental sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expected impact of the GREENLAB project is multifaceted: it aims to enhance the capabilities of professionals, leading to increased job opportunities in the green sector by aligning skills with market demands<\/strong>. Moreover, the project seeks to foster innovation in VET systems and promote sustainable practices at both individual and corporate levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GREENLAB \u2013 Greening Labour market through VET-employers\u2019 partnerships<\/a> is a project funded by Erasmus+ Programme \u2013 Partnerships for Innovation \u2013 Forward-Looking Projects \u2013 Vocational Education and Training (VET). It is a conversion program that aims to promote a systemic reform of education and professional training, advocating innovative approaches to enhance the skills of managerial and consultancy positions in strategic areas of the green transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
