Nowadays, we often hear about sustainable projects and sustainable activities. <\/strong>As well as how different stakeholders and businesses are trying to put systems in place to make that sustainability happen. What about our cities?<\/strong> How can these places where millions of people live be more sustainable, for example through the promotion of urban biodiversity?<\/strong> Co-Bio<\/a><\/strong> aims to address these challenges in a two-year journey, offering concrete ways to deal with the biodiversity crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global population growth and the development of international economies have dramatically increased demands on land use systems. <\/strong>This has led to a widespread decline in biodiversity,<\/strong> and 80 percent of European habitats are now in poor condition. <\/strong>At the same time, the lack of cohesive measures<\/strong>, such as shared guidelines and a network of collaboration among different stakeholders, has led to unsuccessful initiatives. Co-Bio intends to solve this problem through co-creation<\/strong>: that is, by initiating a democratic process to develop shared solutions. The partnership will therefore develop an educational methodology to facilitate local co-creation on urban biodiversity, transferring skills and knowledge essential for the implementation of tangible projects<\/strong>. By addressing the biodiversity crisis with concrete actions, Co-Bio is committed to driving this change!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-Bio will create a practical guide to help partners actively engage local stakeholders by providing essential tools and information to support urban biodiversity.<\/strong> It will also disseminate relevant skills and abilities across Europe, actively engaging people in solving complex social problems and raising awareness about the importance of urban biodiversity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
