What is meant by climate change? What are the consequences for our ecosystem?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Roberto Feo<\/strong> - Geologist expert in Marine Environmental Protection and representative on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security at the Climate Change Expert Group - and Ettore Zaffuto - Graduate in Biodiversity and Environmental Biology and hiking guide, answered these questions during the final SLACC<\/a> event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was an educational moment in which complex issues were dealt with in a simple and engaging way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are all extreme events due to climate change?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Not really. In fact, it is necessary to distinguish between cyclical events and events due to global warming. It is not easy sometimes to understand the cause, but reliable sites can help us understand the impact this has on our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here<\/a> you can find a non-exhaustive list of useful sites for reliable and scientific information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What other tools were presented?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The SLACC project has come to an end but the developed materials will still be available for free to anyone who wants to use the SLACC methodology to support young people in learning and debunking fake news about climate change.
