For this reason, it is <strong>important to foster students' interest<\/strong> in STEM from an early age and to support them in their choices towards STEM careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hence, the promotion of the STEM approach in schools are essential in order to provide tomorrow's citizens with the necessary skills to face the challenges of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this purpose, STEM by STEM - <em>Improving educators' skills in inclusive STEM lessons creation<\/em> aims to <strong>strengthen the skills of teachers and educators through the development of accessible, easily\u2013implemented STEM educational resources<\/strong>, in order to raise students\u2019 interest over STEM and improve their science literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/stembystem\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><strong>STEM by STEM<\/strong><\/a> involves four organisations and three schools in four countries in Europe: the school <a href=\"https:\/\/139ou.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">139 Ou Zaharii Krusha<\/a> and the organisation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knowandcan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Know and Can<\/a> (in Bulgaria), CESIE and the school '<a href=\"https:\/\/www.isducabruzzi-grassi.edu.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Duca Abruzzi - Libero Grassi<\/a>' (in Italy), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fygconsultores.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Instalofi Levante<\/a> and the school <a href=\"https:\/\/colegiocarlosv.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Carlos V<\/a> (in Spain) and the organisation <a href=\"http:\/\/predictconsulting.ro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Predict Consulting<\/a> (in Romania).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Partners met for the first time on the 20<sup>th<\/sup> and 21<sup>st<\/sup> of April in Sofia (Bulgaria) to discuss about the first steps to be taken for the launch of the project and to define the timeline for the activities for the next 2 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The involvement of schools, and therefore teachers and educators, is crucial to the<strong> process of co-designing for the development of the STEM lessons<\/strong> that will be an essential part of the project\u2019s results, which are specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Toolkit with guidelines for developing STEM lessons:<\/strong> which will provide guidelines for the creation of ready to implement STEM lessons related to programming, 3D printing, electronics and robotics, including resources and tools aiming to enable the teachers to use existing STEM resources, in line with the school curricula and the teachers\u2019 needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Online Wiki with STEM lesson and educational materials:<\/strong> aimed at supporting STEM teachers and educators in their continuous professional development by giving them access to open educational resources and tools and concrete educational opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, one<strong> international training and national trainings<\/strong> in each partner country will be organised, with the involvement of teachers and educators, who will have the opportunity to learn live, with a variety of equipment, the <strong>methodological guidelines for creating STEM lessons.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>main<\/strong> <strong>target<\/strong> groups of the project will be <strong>teachers<\/strong> <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>educators<\/strong> who will strengthen their skills in the realisation of STEM activities and lessons;
