European citizenship requires the development of digital skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This lack of knowledge has negative effects in many sectors, especially when it comes to services supporting migrants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The situation has become even more evident with the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the difficulty of providing support and training in person, often jeopardizing assistance to migrants. Online training represents an opportunity for participation and involvement for all people, but to fully exploit its potential, it is necessary to update digital skills.. Educators, trainers, teachers, and students are at the center of the work of Digital Practices for Inclusive Programs and participated in a discussion event in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, the participants did brainstorm activities, reflecting on: needs and challenges they face in their daily work as well as the ones faced by the learners, the difficulties in integrating digital tools in their programs and with their learners, and the positive outcomes of integrating such tools in their daily work, both from their side and learners\u2019 side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These brainstorming sessions were really useful in order to understand the situation directly from the target groups to which the project refers to and what came out also reinforced the needs of such tools and confirmed the utility of the tools chosen for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, the project itself and the tools and output developed were presented in a detailed way, so as to collect feedback and opinions from the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end, in order to collect useful inputs for the last output of the project, a final open discussion on how to transfer these tools in other service sectors was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was extremely useful for the partnership and for the project itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We received very positive feedback and really useful opinions and inputs for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
