From 21st to 23rd June 2022, the Digital Practices for Inclusive Programs<\/strong><\/a> partnership met in Palermo, Italy, for the second short term joint staff training, to share each other's experiences and new skills acquired from the development and testing phases of the pilot courses in each local context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the 3 days each partner presented in detail the development of the tutorials for trainers on each national digital tool chosen by also showing the courses in the Moodle platform, the platform chosen for all the courses developed within the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This session let the partnership acquire knowledge and skills on how to use these different tools, broadening each one\u2019s competences and expertise in using different digital tools for more inclusive programs and trainings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a second section, each partner presented the pilot-courses developed for the learners, giving an overview of the piloting phases and thus giving the possibility to see on first-hand how to create a course for learners using those digital tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3 days were really useful for all the participants for them to acquire new knowledge and skills that will be used during the project lifetime and also later on, in all the activities organized within each organization; all this will therefore result in a positive impact on all the migrants with special needs that will benefit from this acquired knowledge and skills and from the participation at the Digital Practices for Inclusive Programs courses developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the next months the partnership will develop a guidebook on how to transfer these tools into other sector outside the adult education of migrants with special needs, so as to broaden the usability of these tools and give knowledge and skills to other professionals working with people with special needs and giving them the possibility to make their own programs and services more inclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project Digital Practices for Inclusive Programs<\/strong><\/a>, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 for Adult Education, aims to create innovative digital pathways that promote digital pedagogy to facilitate higher levels of participation of immigrants with special needs, thereby enhancing employability and increasing social inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
