The best way is to see what is already there.<\/em><\/p>\n<cite>Jeff Goins<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Teacher mentoring<\/strong> is a topic that is still unaddressed in Italy. On the contrary, the mentor is a figure of reference for many german teachers. <strong>They are able to influence and support teachers throughout the course of their career<\/strong>, <strong>enabling them to enhance their interpersonal and organizational skills<\/strong>, with a focus on encouraging students in the classes in which they teach, regardless of the subject that is studied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is what we learned during the meetings held between <strong>March 6 and 10, 2023<\/strong> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elke.uoa.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Gymnasiale Oberstufe des Schulzentrums Carl von Ossietzky<\/a> in Bremerhaven, where we had the opportunity to learn about part of the mentoring programs used by German teachers and <strong>adapt the mentoring program implemented in co-design to the<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/matchthementor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong>Match the Mentor<\/strong><\/a><strong> platform.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on the latest research and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of our program,<strong> we were able to achieve our goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>clarify the role of the online mentor;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>restructure the learning paths by adapting them to the platform;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>create a mentoring program usable online, both by mentors and mentees (the newly hired teachers).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supporting teachers in the development of their profession, by sharing experiences between partners and the creation of an online mentoring program, will allow the<strong> exchange of best practices, information, news and innovative teaching methodologies <\/strong>between mentors and mentees from all over Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in taking part in the project and staying up-to-date on developments, the <strong>LOOP partnership invites you to participate <\/strong>remotely in the<strong> Final Conference of the project<\/strong> <strong>to be held in Braga, Portugal, July 6-7, 2023.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more detailed information subscribe to the project newsletter: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fe48e5de wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/looplearningnetwork\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong>Subscribe to the Newsletter of LOOP!<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your participation is essential for the continuous improvement of the educational process at the European level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow LOOP project developments via social media!
