{"id":118339,"date":"2023-03-24T11:41:25","date_gmt":"2023-03-24T10:41:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?p=118339"},"modified":"2023-03-24T11:42:27","modified_gmt":"2023-03-24T10:42:27","slug":"status-repository-inclusive-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/higher-education-and-research\/status-repository-inclusive-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"Discover the STATUS e-repository: a collection of good practices for inclusive learning environments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Re)focusing the attention on social dimension of higher education institutions (HEI), <strong>the eRepository of <a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/status\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">STATUS<\/a><\/strong> <strong>offers an overview of possibilities for introduction of innovative approaches in education practices<\/strong> needed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>level up governance and curriculum delivery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>open further access to programs, resources and equal opportunity for the enrolment and retention of the vulnerable students, enhancing their learning relationships and perspectives;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>empowering students in general to direct their own learning and support underrepresented students\u2019 transition from HEI to the labour market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tool collects good practices that can help <strong>making more visible the diversity of problems of underrepresented social groups in the educational systems<\/strong> of different countries, also containing the variety of solutions to facilitate their enrolment in higher education institutions, supporting them during their studies and after graduation to assist them with their future employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through its&nbsp;<em>one stop shop<\/em>&nbsp;virtual space database, the eRepository earmarked promising practices in inclusion of underrepresented groups of <strong>students in HEI, e.g. Roma and ethnic minorities\u2019 students, migrant students, students in difficult socio-economic position, etc.<\/strong>, across study programs and disciplines. The intention was also to <strong>encompass a variety of practices<\/strong>, such as on enrollment and promotion practices, administration and student service practices, teaching practices, learning practices, student union and peer support practices, cooperation practices between HEIs and civil society, etc., so that readers coming from different target groups find it more useful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We aim at making this tool <strong>a reference point for all those higher education institutions <\/strong>intending to better address underrepresented students<strong> and introduce some institutional improvements that will better fit the needs of excluded students<\/strong>. It will support the exchange of know-how among the HE institutions and its teaching and non-teaching staff, promoting different European ideas on how underrepresented students and staff could be supported in their institutional contexts.
