Establish with success a link between the worlds of art and education to investigate relationships with one's body and urban and social space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fusion of Art and Education<\/a><\/strong> project closed with a well-attended final performance<\/strong> and the publication of some recommendations<\/strong> to facilitate exchanges and bridge-building between the art world and the world of adult education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of two years, partner organizations in the Fusion of Art and Education project explored the relationships between the art world and the world of education<\/strong>. In Italy, Austria, Germany, and Portugal, artistic-educational initiatives and performances of different art forms - <\/strong>from theater, to dance, to photography- were carried out in a collaboration between artists and educators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CESIE conducted research on the state of the art of this collaboration<\/strong> and public recommendations to facilitate its growth. Above all, it carried out an artistic residency of Danza Duende<\/strong> built around the theme of the relationship between the individual and the urban and social space<\/strong>, which was radically transformed by two years of pandemic and isolation, with significant consequences on the mental health of many people. Inspired by th text of Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities <\/em>a group of women investigated, through movement and speech, their relationships with their own bodies and with others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project also produced two highly participated artistic performances<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The first, at the end of the residency, was the conclusion of the journey made with the participants.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The second, on the same theme, involved a collaboration between a dancer, a musician, an actress and a painter <\/strong>who enacted Cloe<\/em>, one of Calvino's Invisible Cities<\/em>, in which people do not know each other but exchange glances, imagination, vibrations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Personally, I feel that my mind and body were searching for a unity that is often lost in daily life - <\/em>Participant of the project.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The project succeeded in bringing movement back to the center of an invisible space in which to feel safe and free from judgment<\/strong>; a space where the collective supports the individual<\/strong> and gives them the strength to continue their process of growth in self-expression, self-awareness and self-confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
