{"id":110656,"date":"2022-10-25T11:43:23","date_gmt":"2022-10-25T09:43:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?p=110656"},"modified":"2022-10-25T11:44:25","modified_gmt":"2022-10-25T09:44:25","slug":"youth-work-international-mobility-youthimpact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/news\/youth-work-international-mobility-youthimpact\/","title":{"rendered":"Increasing the quality of youth work in international mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Increasing the quality, promoting growth and recognition of <strong>youth work<\/strong> is one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/youth.europa.eu\/strategy_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">2019-2027 Youth Goals<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/agenziagiovani.it\/new-lanimazione-socioeducativa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">youth worker<\/a><\/strong> is a person who works in contact with young people in settings, projects and activities that support their learning and <strong>personal, social and educational development<\/strong> so that they become empowered and responsible citizens through active participation in decision-making processes and inclusion in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/youthimpact\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Youth Impact+<\/a><\/strong> wants to enhance recognition of Youth Work through European funded programmes across Europe at national and EU level, improving sectoral cooperation, and including through the EU Youth Coordinator\u2019s mandate, and supporting youth in shaping EU policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Increasing and maintaining the <strong>quality of Youth work across Europe<\/strong> is key to achieving the Youth Goals, which can be done by ensuring youth organizations and youth workers are able to learn from each other by recognizing and sharing good practices of other European youth projects, increasing the quality of youth work, the skills, competences and understanding of youth workers and in turn, facilitating high quality opportunities and support for the youths engaged with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project aims to increase knowledge about the situation of young people and youth policies, providing an evidence-base of information and data that facilitates the mainstreaming of youth issues amongst all policy areas of the EU that affect young people. The aim is to support the capacity building of youth workers and youth work practices, and to reinforce links between policy, research and practice and then promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Youth Impact+ will reach its goals by developing two interactive digital tools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Digital Platform YouthImpact+<\/strong>: an interactive, user-managed tool which allows youth workers and project coordinators to quantify the social and environmental impacts of European funded projects and programmes.<\/li><li><strong>Online Training Course<\/strong>: a dynamic, interactive course for users to learn how to properly use and integrate the YouthImpact+ digital platform into their planned or existing youth initiatives and projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first part of the project saw the involvement of all partners in research and studies research of good practices and digital tools useful for the design of interactive tools.
