Measuring social impact can be a powerful stimulus to the effectiveness, transparency and governance of civil society organisations, as it may help them analyse the appropriateness of the resources used and how to eventually intervene to improve the quality of the services\/products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to provide CSOs with enhanced knowledge, skills and competences for effective social impact measurement, SIM4CSOs<\/a><\/strong> international partnership has been working on the development of ad hoc resources and methods, which will be freely available on the project website<\/a>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n All the resources were thoroughly discussed and finalised on the occasion of the final transnational project meeting, which took place in Oslo on the 5th<\/sup> September, followed by the final International Conference, a unique occasion to promote the project, its resources and discuss the current situation of social impact measurement in partners\u2019 countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Though the project is now coming to an end, its impact is expected to continue well after its lifespan, as it will contribute to harmonising standards and approaches of social impact measurement across Europe, <\/strong>fostering the creation of a specialised community of practitioners and professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Would you like to learn more?
