Testing and analysing the effects of our actions provides the answers to whether the existing resources are (or not) being used in an optimal way. Measuring social impact can be a booster for the overall impact of the actions, thanks to better understanding of users\u2019 needs, the improvement of the quality of the services\/products, stronger visibility of the actions, and creating opportunities for better marketing of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to facilitate such a complex process, SIM4CSOs<\/a><\/strong> project has created a series of resources aimed at providing a common framework to guide CSOs from across different countries in the measurement of their social impact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On 5-6th<\/sup> September, SIM4CSOs partners met in Oslo, hosted by Oslomet, in order to discuss the progress achieved so far and plan next steps together. The main focus was on the finalisation of the last resource, i.e. a virtual learning environment<\/strong> to strengthen knowledge and skills in social impact measurement. Indeed, based on the feedbacks collected through an international process of testing, the platform will be finalised in the following weeks and will be made openly available for whoever is interested in this area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On the second day, an international conference<\/strong> was held at Oslo Litteraturhuset, during which SIM4CSOs partners could offer an overview of the project, its resources and the current situation on social impact measurement for CSOs in partner countries.
