{"id":109062,"date":"2022-07-18T13:49:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-18T11:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?p=109062"},"modified":"2025-07-29T14:40:25","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T12:40:25","slug":"global-citizenship-education-resources-temsic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/news\/global-citizenship-education-resources-temsic\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Citizenship Education: TEMSIC Educational Resources and Games"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European partners of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/temsic\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">TEMSIC<\/a><\/strong> met in Palermo on 13 and 14 July 2022 to discuss the latest results and elaborate 4 <strong>cooperative games<\/strong>, to be distributed to European schools of all levels of education by December 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 4 cooperative games are addressed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learners aged 3-6 years: it\u2019s a cooperative game in the form of learning stations, where boys and girls can explore several dances, music, foods, languages of the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learners aged 6-13 years: it\u2019s a cooperative game, specifically a board game, where boys and girls will play using thematic cards of the world, to discover its peoples, its geographical areas and all the peculiarities of the different continents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learners aged 13-16 years: it\u2019s a cooperative game in which learners will have to discover the biographies of some important women whose scientific contributions are famous worldwide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learners aged 16-18 years: it\u2019s a cooperative game to measure the ecological impact of our consumption choices, through the resolution of some puzzles in a very fanny escape room game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, 4 <strong>thematic guides<\/strong> are available for teachers on the main issues of Global Citizenship Education and with reference to the Millennium Development Goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you want to learn more?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the project and download the resources at: <a href=\"https:\/\/transformative-edu.eu\/it\/il-progetto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">transformative-edu.eu\/it\/il-progetto<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you interested in participating with your school and testing the cooperative games?
