{"id":107845,"date":"2022-06-15T16:34:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T14:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?p=107845"},"modified":"2022-06-28T16:44:41","modified_gmt":"2022-06-28T14:44:41","slug":"more-than-1000-teachers-trained-in-lithuania-on-micreate-tools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/higher-education-and-research\/more-than-1000-teachers-trained-in-lithuania-on-micreate-tools\/","title":{"rendered":"More than 1000 teachers trained in Lithuania on MiCREATE tools"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within MiCREATE project, we had a role to conduct series <strong>of workshops for policy makers and seminars for teachers <\/strong>in Italy, Germany and Lithuania, to inform them about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.micreate.eu\/wp-content\/img\/pdf\/D12.19%20-%20Policy%20Brief%20-%20Coronavirus%20-%20English.pdf\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">MiCREATE policy recommendations<\/a> and increase <strong>teachers\u2019 capacities in inclusive education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even if Italy, Germany and Lithuania differ significally in regards to migration history and integration policies, the topic of integration and inclusion of migrant children into education is a hot topic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on developed <strong>MiCREATE guide of teachers<\/strong>, we strengthened capacities of teachers in relation to diversity management, multicultural education and a child-centric approach and trained them on different methodologies and tools that can facilitate the integration of migrant students in regards to the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>multicultural education and diversity management;<\/li><li>preventing inter-ethnic conflicts in the school environment;<\/li><li>art-based practices and measures for promoting inclusion;<\/li><li>migrants\u2019 conceptualization of well-being;<\/li><li>organization of everyday school life.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to that, we let them try two information-communication (IC) tools developed <strong>to stimulate language learning, creativity, expression and the participation of all children<\/strong> and to provide innovative ways of addressing cultural dialogue in schools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/micreate-storytelling.web.app\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Digital storytelling application<\/a><\/li><li>Awareness raising application - Multiculturality in schools (on <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=solutions.gm5.micreate_ic_tool\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">Google Play<\/a>, on <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/ci\/app\/multiculturality-in-schools\/id1572858407\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">App store<\/a>)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is worth to mention that <strong>more than 1000 teachers have participated in our organised seminars in Lithuania<\/strong>! Such a high interest indeed shows the need for more trainings and seminars on integration in that part of Europe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br \/>About the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/project\/micreate\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">MiCREATE \u2013 Migrant Children and Communities in a Transforming Europe<\/a>, funded by Horizon2020 programme of the European Union, aims to stimulate social inclusion of diverse groups of migrant children in EU countries by adopting a child-centred approach to migrant integration at the educational and policy level, also through child-centred research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"partners\">Partners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul
