Cooperative learning is a learning mode based on a pedagogical and didactic conception that uses the class group as the main resource and learning tool, encouraging the acquisition of social skills and supporting motivation.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although it is an increasingly applied educational model, because of its aptitude for simultaneously enhancing the cognitive and social, affective and relational aspects of learning, it remains difficult to achieve full student involvement in discussion, both with peers and with teachers<\/strong>. This difficulty affects the effective possibility of students to contribute, discuss or improve their analytical and social skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The educational technologies currently on the market, if used correctly, have proved effective in reducing this difficulty, improving the learning environment<\/strong>: they have the advantage of involving students, increasing engagement and motivation, improving peer learning and encouraging communication and immediate feedback between students and teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project iLikeIT2 - Learning Through Innovative Collaboration Enhanced by Educational Technology<\/a> was conceived with the aim of developing a new online tool incorporating all the major functionalities required by teachers for collaborative work in the classroom (the iLikeIT2 software).<\/strong> The tool will be accompanied by methodological guidelines and a toolkit for collaborative work, supporting educational innovation and diversification of education and training methodologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iLikeIT2 project was presented at EDULEARN21, the 13th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies, held  virtually on the 5th and 6th of July, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
