Sports plays a key role in combating discrimination, promoting human rights, tolerance and inclusive communities. For this reason, it is crucial to increase sports organizations\u2019 capacities to implement socially responsible behaviour by enhancing their organizational governance in the context of social responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To address this topic, CESIE organised two seminars targeted at non-profit\/community sports clubs<\/strong> and professional and semi-professional sports teams<\/strong>, in order to build knowledge and skills on implementing good governance principles through social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through a mix of theory and interactive activities, staff and managers of different sports associations, sports unions and federations learnt to design, implement and evaluate CSR strategies<\/strong> to address the needs of their stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants had also the opportunity to discover some best practices of CSR in the sport field, gaining an understanding of the steps needed to adopt responsible policies in line with the characteristics of their organisations.
