D3<\/strong><\/a> promotes the use digital technologies and open data tools in the learning and teaching environment. Let\u2019s discover together what the project is about!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with the publication of the course modules<\/a>, D3 partners have started working on the collection of case studies<\/strong> regarding the use of open data in the school environment.  During this phase, secondary school teachers are being involved by CESIE to report their professional experience: participants will illustrate the implementation of a project within their school that contributed to promoting active participation to the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of this activity is to provide practical examples<\/strong> of open data use in secondary schools and to be an inspiration<\/strong> for other teachers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

D3 partners will support the participants in the development of their case study, which will cover four main topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Description of the school.<\/li>
  2. Description of the project and its ties with open data.<\/li>
  3. Project\u2019s strengths and weaknesses.<\/li>
  4. Involvement of the students in the project.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The stories will be told resorting to Story Maps<\/a> or Microsoft Sway<\/a>, two interactive tools that will make the stories engaging and appealing for those consulting the case study gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the meanwhile, we provide you with another resource about digital learning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In occasion of the last Erasmus+ Days, CESIE organized a social caf\u00e9<\/strong> to discuss about open data potential within the educational field. If you are interested in learning more, follow this this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Lastly, between January and February, D3 final event will be organized: stay updated!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
