{"id":167827,"date":"2026-06-10T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/?post_type=mec-events&#038;p=167827"},"modified":"2026-06-17T16:59:48","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T14:59:48","slug":"bottomuptalks-education-rights-support-networks","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/cesie.org\/en\/events\/bottomuptalks-education-rights-support-networks\/","title":{"rendered":"From education to rights: preventing Gender-Based Violence through support networks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Building relationships free from violence starts at school. <\/strong>Faced with growing challenges surrounding the relational dynamics of children and adolescents, a strong alliance between schools, institutions, and the local community is essential to co-design a future free from gender-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>1st Technical Roundtable on Preventing Violence in Adolescent Relationships and Promoting Well-being at School<\/strong> marks the beginning of a series of three roundtable discussions aimed at strengthening the prevention of gender-based violence and harmful relationship dynamics in school settings, while promoting the psychological and relational well-being of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will bring together institutions, schools, local services, third-sector organisations, and experts to initiate a participatory process of co-creating recommendations on affective and sexual education as a prevention tool. Participants will have the opportunity to share needs, experiences, and good practices emerging from the local context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting, organised by CESIE ETS in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comune.palermo.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Municipality of Palermo<\/a>, will take place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Tuesday 23 June, 2026 | from 09:30 to 11.30<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comune.palermo.it\/amministrazione\/unita_organizzativa\/uo-segreteria-assessore-politiche-socio-sanitarie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer\" title=\"\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><strong>Assessorato delle Attivit\u00e0 Sociali U.O.
