The sixth meeting of the project CVE – Corporate volunteering as a bridge between the world of school and the world of work was held in Iasi (Romania) on 23 and 24 May.
CVE is a Comenius project within the Life-Long Learning Programme, financed by the European Commission, which aims to develop a coordinated approach for professional trainers with regard to the cooperation opportunities between schools and the world of work. This will be obtained through innovative techniques and by preparing trainers (teachers, headmasters, school personnel), who will be able in turn to develop training activities in the field of cooperation between school and work.
During the meeting in Romania, the partners discussed about the results achieved throughout the pilot courses on Corporate Volunteering, which were held in each partner country in the months of April and May.
These courses were necessary in order to test the educational materials on Corporate Volunteering, and in the next weeks the partners will develop the final version of the trainer’s guide and a database with all the results achieved in the courses.
Furthermore, we started to talk about the last event of the project, which will take place in the Portuguese city of Oporto on 5 and 6 September 2013.
The project will end with a final conference, during which the results achieved throughout the two years of the project will be made public.
