In many European countries, young immigrants find neither in their families nor within their community any role model to inspire them for their professional future.
Mentoring is a strategy of supporting people (belonging, above all, to disadvantaged groups such as individuals looking for a job, young people and / or young immigrants) in order to increase their professional opportunities and allow them to fulfill themselves in life. It is a tool helping to increase the confidence, resources and skills necessary to exploit one’s potential.
Would you like to become a mentor? Would you like to learn about mentoring strategies and learn how to build an effective relationship between mentor and mentee? Are you interested in enhancing your communication and intercultural skills? Or maybe already a mentor and delve into these issues?
We invite you to a Training on Intercultural Mentoring!
Who is the course for?
People from different countries interested in becoming mentors – no age limit.
The training will be held on three afternoons in December: 6 December (online) and 13 and 14 December in presence in the center of Palermo.
At the end of the course a certificate of participation will be issued.
