After two years of project lifetime, Tour2Include, aiming to foster migrants’ labour market inclusion in the tourism sector through tailored training approaches, is coming to an end.
On October 21st 2021, the Tour2Include Consortium held their final Partner Meeting online. The consortium used this opportunity to take stock of all project activities, which have been implemented in the last two years, especially focusing on the lessons learned from the initial research on tourism employers’ needs and migrants’ priori learning path and competences as well as the sustainability of the project results and outcomes. Another topic, which was discussed, were the ongoing pilots of the platform in the three different countries Italy, Greece and Germany as well as first take-aways from them. After the conclusion of the pilots at the end of October, the partnership will use the remaining time to adapt the Tour2Include e-learning platform based on user feedback gathered during the different pilot sessions, before the project will reach its successful conclusion.
