CESIE is a European centre of studies and initiatives established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of sociologist Danilo Dolci. Our mission is to promote educational innovation, participation and growth. We are looking for candidates who share our mission and are eager to work in an international and multicultural team characterised by professionals with diverse profiles and skills, based in Palermo (Sicily, Italy).
Vacancies:
- Junior Project Manager –in the field of educational projects management, funded by the EU and/or other international funding programmes.
- Senior Project Manager – in the field of “initiatives aimed at preventing and countering human trafficking”. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the phenomenon and the law enforcement response at national and European levels. Moreover, he/she should be experienced in developing relations with relevant public and private stakeholders.
- Senior Project Manager – in the field of “EU health policies and actions”. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable of the EU4Health programme, and he/she should understand long-term European healthcare challenges and initiatives to develop stronger, more resilient and accessible healthcare systems.
General minimum requirements:
- Advanced fluency in English (CEFR: C1) and in Italian (CEFR: C1)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Political Sciences, Law, Communication, Sustainable Development and International Cooperation, Economics, Education Sciences, Languages and similar
- Good command of MS Office tools; good understanding of online storage systems and social media
- Willingness to travel for work
- Teamworking skills in international contexts
- Passion for educational and social issues
Optional requirements:
- Previous experience in project management or analogous roles in NGOs
- Fluency in French/Spanish/Arabic
- Knowledge of Erasmus+; AMIF; CERV and Horizon Europe Funding programmes
- Experience in coordinating and managing teams
- Previous experience in the field of non-formal education
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and managing transnational and/or local projects
- Guaranteeing good project implementation and delivering high-quality outputs
- – Contributing to the growth of their Unit, developing good relationships with international partners and local actors.
