The intersectional approach is an analytical tool that recognizes that systemic inequalities are configured by the overlapping of different factors such as gender, origin and socio-economic background.
Adopting an intersectional perspective in education means including the views of all members of the school community, responding to their experiences and needs, and creating a more inclusive learning environment.
