35 young women ready to start a training path as aspiring entrepreneurs or professionals in the agri-food sector: the list of participants admitted to the training of InnovAgroWoMed project is published!

The last weeks of InnovAgroWoMed project have been dedicated to the evaluation of the applications addressing the call for participants to the planned training paths for to-be entrepreneurs or professionals in the agri-food sector.

A such intensive work for the selection committee as 55 candidatures have been received. More than 40 candidates have passed the first phase of the evaluation and they have been convened for the final interview[1].

A treasure of competences, energy, willpower, look towards the future and the will to learn to do: this is the identikit of our candidates.

I decided to take part to this call as I was such enthusiastic about a project addressed to women, only, in a professional sector which is not so open to women, yet

I saw hope in this project

“Until now I have been a mother, mostly. My children grew up and when I shared with them the idea to apply for this opportunity they started to be my first supporters!”

Some of the participants have study in the agri-food sector and they are looking to develop managerial competences; other ones have an entrepreneurial idea with the aim of valorising family’s land; some of them are looking to acquire professional skills. There is a strong motivation behind each of the selected participants.

They are women that want to get involved. They strongly believe in their projects and in the value of cooperation.

So…

Congratulations and welcome!
