EUYOUTH4HEALTH- training course on digital communication and marketing strategies for health prevention coming soon
The importance of digital communication and promotion strategies in today’s business world is undeniable. The sector, characterized by great dynamism, is constantly updated and can provide job opportunities for young people looking for a position in the job market.
In order to support young unemployed people, aged between 23 and 30, in boosting their employability chances, the Erasmus+ project, EUYOUTH4HEALTH, aims at defining and validate a CV that addresses the skills gap in digital communication and marketing strategies for health prevention. By providing young people with useful skills for their inclusion in today’s job market, the project also aims to improve the interaction between VET providers, unemployed young people, SMEs and public agencies / companies that work in the health prevention improving their practices and communication with a wider audience.
To date, a market analysis report conducted in the five countries of the project (Italy, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Austria) has been developed. It contains information on the health prevention sector, a mapping of stakeholders, a list of companies that work in the field of health prevention and of the worst and best practices regarding digital communication and promotion measures and strategies.
In order to support young people in obtaining concrete skills to enter this sector and improve their professional condition, in the next months, a training course on digital communication and promotion strategies for companies that work in the field of health prevention will be developed.
On 3rd April during the project last transnational meeting, the partners focused on the development of the project training course. The partners were able to lay the foundations for the development of the training modules by focusing on the development of themes and topics that may be of most interest to the young people involved in the project. Once the training modules are ready, starting from September 2020, all the project partners will organize a 60-hour training course addressed to at least 15 young people per country, aged between 23-30 years, through which they will learn basic and important concepts of digital communication and marketing strategies needed to work in the health prevention sector. This training course will be a successful knowledge transfer model to be used by trainers in their work with trainees as a way to improve their skills and increase the chances of finding a job.
