SUMMARY:LET’S BLOW THE WHISTLE! – Free SISTERS 5-a-side Football Tournament for an Inclusive Sports Community
DESCRIPTION:\nDo you want to make an impact both on the pitch and in your community? The SISTERS project invites you to join a tournament that goes beyond the game by promoting inclusion and respect for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a team or already have one ready to give its best, there’s a place for you!\n\n\n\nLet’s Blow the Whistle! tournament is a unique opportunity to combine a passion for sport with social engagement. Alongside exciting football matches, every team will take part in the Extra-time programme, our Blow the Whistle awareness campaign. Together, we will explore gender-related issues and actively promote a sporting environment that is truly inclusive for everyone.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgramme \n\n\n\nThe tournament – organised in collaboration with ToGetTherə collettivo – will take place over two months, from October to December 2026. Matches will be held every week at Wisser Club (Via Maurizio Ascoli, Palermo) or other football pitch, every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nGet ready for unforgettable matches played in the spirit of fair play!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDownload the competition rules\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTournament  participation is free of charge\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION DEADLINE: MONDAY 31 AUGUST\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy to join in\n\n\n\nThe SISTERS tournament is not just a game. Together, we promote gender equality and a sport that welcomes everyone, without exception. We promote the inclusion of women and the LGBTQIA+ community in sport, and we are committed to creating a fair sporting environment based on intersectionality and mutual respect.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout SISTERS\n\n\n\nSISTERS – FoStering gender and LGBTQIA+ equity In Sports through an intersectional approach is funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the Erasmus+ Sport programme. The project aims to promote the full inclusion of women and the LGBTQIA+ community in sport by breaking down barriers and fostering equity through an intersectional approach.
