DESCRIPTION:\nAn afternoon of workshops to recognise and challenge gender-based violence and stereotypes in sport.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSport is a space for growth, encounter, and participation – yet often, it still reflects the gender inequalities and stereotypes present in society.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this afternoon of workshops, organised in collaboration with the Italian Referees Association – Palermo Section, we will explore how to make sport a fairer and more inclusive environment, free from discrimination and open to everyone.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event is organised within the framework of the European project Sport GVP – Gender-Based Violence Prevention in and through Sport, which aims to prevent and address gender-based violence both in and through sport, by promoting awareness, education, and responsibility among professionals and sports communities.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy participate:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGain a deeper understanding of how stereotypes influence participation and representation in sport.\n\n\n\nLearn practical tools and methods to promote inclusion and equity in sport contexts.\n\n\n\nShare experiences and reflect collectively on how to build safer and more welcoming spaces.\n\n\n\nEngage in dialogue with people of different ages and backgrounds.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at 17:00\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nat: A.I.A.
