SUMMARY:How to enhance cultural heritage and community tourism – HERITAS start conference
DESCRIPTION:\nHow can we contribute to strengthening the role of culture and tourism within sustainable development? Who are the key actors managing inclusion and social innovation in rural and peri-urban areas? What similarities exist between Sicily and Tunisia?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe HERITAS project lands in Palermo, Tunis, Balestrate, and Nabeul to encourage local communities to participate in the enhancement of their territories through community-based initiatives and the co-creation of strategies aimed at preserving both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe project is led by CESIE ETS as Coordinator, in partnership with Le Vie dei Tesori, ANIMED, and CAWTAR.
