DESCRIPTION:\nEUNITE! encourages and supports participatory democracy and civic engagement of the European people.\n\n\n\nThe main goal of the project is to encourage the active participation of citizens in the next European parliamentary elections, as well as to feed interest in community policies and increase their critical sense in the use of traditional and digital information media.\n\n\n\nThrough workshops, debates and meetings, \n\n\n\nEUNITE! brings citizens closer to the European institutions, improving their knowledge about the opportunities offered, and increasing their sense of responsibility and active participation in political and democratic life.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBe an active participant too!\n\n\n\nTuesday March 26th, 2024 from 11.00 to 14.00 \n\n\n\nat the DAMS - University of Palermo, via Divisi 81\n\n\n\nFree workshop “Citizens Theater Lab! Activism and Participation”\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDuring the workshop, you can improve your knowledge about the functioning and structure of the European Union, the rights of European citizens and the importance to take part in the next EU elections. These themes will be related to the artistic and theatrical language, through the Antygone/Youstar method.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\n11.00 – 11.10 | Introduction of the EUNITE project! EU Citizens Unite and Promote the European Project.\n\n\n\n11.10 – 11.25 | Ice-breaker activity. \n\n\n\n11.25 – 11.40 | Introduction to the CULTURAD platform. \n\n\n\n11.40 – 12.30 | The European Union, the institutions and their functioning, citizenship and elections – interactive activities. \n\n\n\n12.30 - 13.30 |A.N.T.Y.G.O.N.E. – “Arts and Theater for Young peOple Needs” – European citizenship and right to vote.\n\n\n\n13.30 - 13.45 |Feedback and discussion.\n\n\n\n13.45 - 14.00 | Final evaluation of the activity. \n\n\n\n14.00 | Lunch\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout EUNITE!\n\n\n\nEUNITE!
