  • To contribute to the development of education policies and practices on intercultural education, gender education and inclusion of children/parents of minority cultural backgrounds
  • To contribute to the development of the competences and tools of teachers, school staff and managers for:
  1. understanding cultural differences having an impact on early childhood education
  2. addressing issues of cultural diversity, gender, and health with the children
  3. involving parents (of migrant and non-migrant origin) and engage them in dialogue about sensitive issues such as cultural differences, gender, body, health
  • To contribute to improving schools’ capacity to address cultural diversity, to ensure that children of different cultural backgrounds and their parents are not excluded and equip children for participation in an intercultural society tolerant towards gender diversity, disability

  • Organising a training workshop for project staff at transnational level on the critical incidents methodology
  • Devising a manual and toolbox of practical activities based critical incidents method, theatre pedagogy, non-formal and intercultural pedagogy
  • Setting up an e-training course for teachers

    This report presents the results the youth exchange, where 41 participants from all over Europe had the chance to explore themselves and their opinion about topics such as Multiple Discriminations. Moreover, the report describes the methods, based on non-formal education and artistic expression, and the activities.

  • To promote the integration of Third Country Nationals in the Member States of the EU
  • To build a bridge between local and migrant communities and to teach tolerance and mutual respect
  • To enhance the public perception of migration, diversity and cultural richness

  • To create a sustainable project for school education to provide measures to combat racism, xenophobia, stereotypes and prejudices in the long term by confronting teenagers with topics like migration, integration and diversity

Development in each partner country of:

  • 3 Eye-catchers, poster and flyers to inform and sensitize the communities and to enhance the public perception of migration
  • A Path of Diversity: with 5 different stations made with the help of the student, installed in public places for a least two months, that showcase different cultures and ethnic group feeling the cultural differences in an interactive and sensuous way
  • A Curricula for the school: instructional strategies and resource materials for school education
  • A School project week: students and teachers will be involved in workshops, seminars, circle time, projection of films, meetings with representative groups of migrant communities
