Training Course “Learning from EVS”
It will be realized in Palermo from 18th to 26th of September 2010. It will involve partners from different European countries such as: France, England, Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Greece. It is a Training Course, under the Youth in Action Programme.
The TC is addressed to people who have participated to projects as: EVS, Erasmus or Leonardo. It will give to participants the opportunity to reflect on their own experience and to acquire abilities and competencies as mentoring, peer educator to youth with fewer opportunities therefore increasing the quality of youth work.
2°international Meeting of Creative Motivate Learn project
From the 6th – 7th and 8th September the 2°international Meeting of Creative Motivate Learn projectwill take place in Palermo.
In this meeting the coordinators and the partner organizations will participate, enriching it thanks to their experiences and researches results in the field of Adult Education.
In order to facilitate and ensure this sharing of experiences and best practices the partner organizations planned Training Sessions, which will be also attend by the educators and teachers coming from the partner countries.
CITY ZEN: starts the Forum Theatre workshop
CITY ZEN – For A Sustainable European Society project activities go on after a short break in August.
From September starts the Forum Theatre workshop with the participation of local and European youth.
During the workshop the young participants will carry out a performance to show to a public. The theme of the performance will be Sustainable Consumption and Respect for the Environment.
The aim is to make aware the public that it’s possible to implement Zero Waste Strategy and Sustainable Consumption in our daily lives.
EVS project INTERFACE II
The first part of the EVS project INTERFACE II just ended. It involved three young people (2 girls and one boy) from Cambodia, in the local labor in the field of infant education.
The three volunteers worked during 6 months in non-formal education of children (mostly sons and daughters of immigrants) in some centers that collaborate with Ce.S.I.E: Ubuntu, Giardino di Madre Teresa, Fondazione per il Sud e Santa Chiara.
The second part of the project will start soon (September 9th) with the departure of three young Italians, already selected by Ce.S.I.E., who will spend a semester volunteering in Cambodia (Phnom Penh), giving their contribution in developing the local community, developing also International projects.
MIRACLE – Comparative Report
Based on the national needs assessments conducted by the MIRACLE consortium in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Malta and Slovenia has been published the comparative report on the impacts of migration on the educational setting and the possibilities that guarantee equal educational opportunities for children with and without migration background.
The aim of the research was to map the needs of primary school teachers in 5 European countries teaching migrant children.
