Civil Voluntary Service abroad: the IN.DI.A. and N.E.P.A.L. projects

The Civil Voluntary Service abroad offers young people a chance for growth and for personal and professional enrichment. It is also an effective tool to spread the culture of solidarity and peace among different peoples.

The call for proposal for Civil Voluntary Service projects in Italy and abroad has been recently published. The CESIE – Centre of European Studies and Initiatives – will select 12 volunteers for the projects IN.DI.A. and N.E.P.A.L.


Call open for a Training Course in Georgia

giovani e nuovi mediaFor seven days from 5 to 12 of November 2011 in Bakuriani, Georgia (with plenary sessions, discussions, workshops, open space, simulations, intercultural and interactivity games and using other non-formal education methods) young participants will discuss about the significant role of the mass media and new tools and opportunities, which are given by new media. Participants will discus about necessity of PR tactics nowadays in NGO field and how can it be useful for promoting voluntarism.



A do it yourself manual and activities for developing creative thinking

The Manual of Creative Thinking, targeted to craftsmen, apprentices and trainers of the craft sector and creative industries, has been published on the website of the project Handmade Creative Thinking (LLP Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation).

The Manual is the result of an adaptation of the innovative method “The Capture System” developed with children in the United Kingdom to an adult target of the creative industries and Vocational Training. The adaptation and development of the Manual has been made after two years of research and testing with the target groups in the three participating countries: Italy, United Kingdom and Malta.



EDDILI: RMA final manual

eddili logoEDDILI is a project of international research-action, addressed to Adult Learning Staff (thereafter known as ALS), such as Teachers and Trainers of Adults, and Adult Learners (thereafter known as AL). The international partnership aims to experiment and share together Danilo Dolci’s Reciprocal Maieutic Approach (thereafter known as RMA) as an educational approach that can be used in the field of training by ALS.


CLARITY: the manual

Clarity sett2011The CLARITY: Clear Language Actions Responding with Information for migranTs in employment project was concluded on 30th September 2011. The project was integrated into the Leonardo da Vinci Vocational Programme about Promoting Safety and Road Accident Prevention Techniques for Adults.

The aim of the project was to provide immigrants with the necessary knowledge and competences to be able to give basic training in the workplace to those who don’t speak the language of the host country and whose perceptions about safety in the work environment are different from native workers.


WBLQUAL: phase of research

survey writenCESIE – European Centre of Studies and Initiatives, is pleased to introduce the Erasmus WBLQUAL project and invite you to actively contribute to the phase of research that aims at improving the method of qualifications awarding for learning at work obtained through the Work Based Learning (work-based learning and designed to work). The project is particularly focused on education sector like childhood education. No sector remains outside the scope of interest and research anyway.


EXACT: final conference

The final conference of the “EXACT” project, developed by associations, schools and institutions active in education from 10 different countries (Italy, Netherlands, Spain, France, England, Hungary, Austria , Belgium, Germany, Sweden), will take place on the 28th of October 2011 in Heerlen (The Netherlands). The project is funded by the “Lifelong Learning Program” (LLP) of the European Commission.


Creative Learning Communities: researching phase is concluded

Questionario‘Creative Learning Communities’ (CLC) is a project financed by Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci 2011-2013, Development of Innovation, and it has been designed in order to explore and improve teaching and learning pathways aimed at the acquisition of competences such as entrepreneurship, sense of initiative and innovation. The Project involved associations , companies, and foundations operating in Austria, Italy, Malta, Poland and England.
