Volunteering
CE.S.I.E welcomes youngsters and adults, Italian or from other countries, that would like to do a volunteer work and experience, taking care on their training and education and guaranteeing a continuous coordination.
Volunteering is implemented though:
- Voluntary Service in Italy
- Voluntary Service in European countries (EVS)
- International exchanges
- Action 3.1 of the Youth in Action Programme
Voluntary activities are conducted within CE.S.I.E or within institutions and associations of the local and international CE.S.I.E’s network.
Internship
Thanks to agreements signed with the University of Palermo and other local training institutions such as “Istituto di formazione Politica Pedro Arrupe”, CE.S.I.E (Centre of European Studies and Initiatives) welcomes interns interested in the following fields and objectives of CE.S.I.E:
- Promoting intercultural development
- Research and implementation of knowledge
- Mutual communication to consolidate peace and democracy
- To abolish all forms of discrimination by increasing social inclusion and peer opportunities
- To promote global awareness through responsible application of human rights
- To develop social, cultural, economic and scientific relations at local and international level
- To facilitate the growth of individuals and organizations, paying particular attention to young people.
CE.S.I.E worked in these fields through planning, at local and international level, and though the network of institutions that has been created in local, European and non-European context.
